Accuracy, updates and corrections
Editors should check articles for factual accuracy, clarity, context and appropriate sourcing. When a material error is identified, we aim to correct it promptly. Significant updates or corrections may be noted in the article so readers can understand what changed.

Headlines, images and presentation
Headlines should accurately represent the article and should not exaggerate, mislead or present speculation as fact. Editorial decisions
Editors decide whether material meets Spire News standards and whether an article needs further verification, revision, correction or removal. Publication does not imply endorsement of every opinion expressed by a quoted source or contributor.
