The popular shojo anime series, Snow White With The Red Hair Season 3 is in talks to be released and could see a possible return with a new season in the coming months. Snow White With The Red Hair (Akagami no Shirayukihime) was originally a manga series written by Sorata Akizuki. The shojo manga series later received an anime adaptation produced by Warner Bros. in collaboration with Hakusensha and Showgate. The first season of the anime premiered on July 6, 2015. Snow White With Red Hair’s first season was released in two parts, followed by a second season. A third season of Snow White With Red Hair is expected to be released within the next few months.

Snow White With The Red Hair Plot Synopsis
Shirayuki is an ordinary herbalist in Tanbarun’s kingdom, but for her striking red hair, which catches everyone’s attention. However, Prince Raj notices her hair and asks her to be his mistress. She cuts her hair and abandons it, knowing that he just desired her for her unusual hair colour, and flees to the neighbouring kingdom of Clarines, defying his orders. When Zen gets poisoned by an apple Raj gave her that was meant for Shirayuki, she discovers the remedy and decides to accompany the trio to Clarines. Shirayuki sits for a test to become a royal court herbalist and is recruited soon after.
Snow White With The Red Hair Recap
At the beginning of the first episode of Snow White With Red Hair, Prince Raj asks Shirayuki to become his concubine. In an act of blatant defiance, she also cuts her long red hair and ties a ribbon to it so that she does not have to follow the prince. A basket of apples tied with the ribbon appeared shortly after Zen gave her refuge. Raj poisoned the apples and has the remedy, but he would give it to Zen only if Shirayuki agreed to become his concubine.

The following day, Shirayuki finds work as a herbalist in the city after healing Zen using herbs. On an island, she studies and collects rare flora, believing that it is her destiny to do so. While Shirayuki is imprisoned, Zen visits her and discovers that she has not returned through her landlady. Zen works too hard while Shirayuki pursues her studies, and he realizes not everyone is accepting of their relationship.
Shirayuki’s apprenticeship exam arrives, and she passes with flying colors. She is eventually designated as Ryuu’s trainee. Shirayuki realizes that Ryuu isn’t adept at reading people and is thought by others to be a strange -and perhaps dangerous-youngster who exclusively studies toxic plants, but they bond when he becomes concerned when he sees her weep and goes to Zen for assistance.

Shirayuki passes her apprentice test. Ryuu chooses her to be his apprentice. Shirayuki realizes that Ryuu isn’t good at reading people and is thought by others to be a strange and maybe dangerous – youngster who exclusively studies toxic plants, but they bond when he gets concerned when he sees her weep and goes to seek Zen’s assistance.
As Shirayuki and Zen’s relationship progresses in the second season, we see Shirayuki working in the castle’s medical wing, where she is visited by Mihaya. She is informed that she would be required to return to Tanbarun for an unplanned visit. As Shirayuki prepares to travel to Tanbarun, Zen, Shirayuki, and the others look for the enigmatic teenager Kazuki. Shirayuki and Raj strive to overcome their uneasiness in Tanbarun while Zen goes to his tasks at Clarines.
Shirayuki and Raj continue to explore their relationship, as the search for Kazuki in Tanbarun progresses. Shirayuki was abducted in Tanbarun on the night of the ball, and Raj and Zen must now work together to save her. Shirayuki and Kazuki are having trouble on the ship as the princes and their entourage devise a way to save them. The two princes’ bold plan to save Shirayuki and Kazuki is put into action, involving intellect, strength, and a healthy dose of daring do. Shirayuki and Zen have returned to Clarines, but Zen must attend a marriage interview.

He informs Shirayuki that he has already told prince Izana about his affections for her and urges her to wait for the time when he would be able to respond. Later, they all say their goodbyes to Sakaki and Mihaya, and life at the castle returns to normal.
Snow White With The Red Hair Season 3 Plot
Snow White With The Red Hair, the fantasy love animation series’s Season 1 and 2 focused on volume 1 to volume 8, which contains 32 chapters from the original manga. Snow White With The Red Hair Season 3 will have Shirayuki visiting the Kingdom of Clarines in the northern realm, as depicted in the series’ manga.
Because the residents in the Scholar District discuss and collect information on the herbs, they are known for their enormous knowledge. Shirayuki will research and invent new herbs with Ryuu’s help. As covered in the previous two seasons of Snow White With The Red Hair, the storyline and overall plot of the series revolves around Shirayuki. Shirayuki is an extraordinarily beautiful girl who hails from a country named Tanbarun.

The prince of Tanbarun named Raji wants to hold back Shirayuki and eventually wants to make her the queen in his fort. The offer from the Prince could not be resisted by Shirayuki. But to the viewers of the series the truth gets revealed, Shirayuki does not want to live with the prince.
Shirayuki manages to escape from the fort but despite her luck ends up in a forest. There Shirayuki meets a man named Zen Wistaria. Zen gets poisoned, this happens after he eats an apple. Fortunately Shirayuki uses her prolific herbal knowledge and saves Zen. Afterwards, Shirayuki comes to know that the apple was indeed a trap made by the prince in order to capture her.
Zen has royal blood in him since he is the younger brother of the Prince of the adjacent country named Clarines. Zen and his two close friends try and succeed in taking Shirayuki with them. They are on a quest to return to Clarines, which is their own kingdom. Shirayuki goes on to become the Herbalist at Clarines’ royal. In the later part of the story, Shirayuki settles down and begins her life in Clarines.
Shirayuki and Zen develop romantic feelings for each other. They will meet Prince Izana, who is hiding in the Lilias Pavillion, during this time. Shirayuki will then recall their first meeting, when he inquired about her connection with Zen. The following scene, on the other hand, reveals Zen’s plans.
Zen walks into his room after work one day and reminisces about the warmth of Shirayuki’s embrace, this develops the plot point that Zen was missing her immensely. Suddenly, someone barges into his room with some terrible news, prompting him to decide to travel to the far north. The twists are to become more intriguing when Prince Raji invites the Prince of Clarines for a political meeting. Then Shirayuki will also have to attend the aforementioned summit for 7 days and she fears being identified by Prince Raji.
But, what was it about the news that compelled him to travel to the far north? That question will have to wait till the third season is over. In the third season, the story will further progress and explore the life of Zen and Shirayuki. In the new season, it is not clear whether she will get together with Zen in her life or whether her identity will be unveiled in front of Prince Raji. Snow White With The Red Hair Season 3 has not gotten the green signal as of yet and the showrunners and the anime production company are yet to make an official announcement regarding the release of the third season.
Snow White With The Red Hair Season 3 has been delayed due to some disputes during production and the Covid19 Pandemic. Bones Studio is currently busy wrapping up the sixth season of My Hero Academia. They are also working on the latest season of Mob Psycho 100, which has further delayed the release of Snow White With The Red Hair Season 3.

We might see the release of Snow White With The Red Hair Season 3 by the end of 2022, although no confirmation has yet been officially announced by the parties.
