Oppo Reno 6 Series Launched: Dimensity SoCs, 65W Charging & 5G
Oppo has launched Reno 6 and Reno 6 Pro 5G today in India. This Oppo Reno 6 series debuted in China in the month of May. Both of these devices support 65W Fast charging. The phones are powered by Mediatek Dimensity processors with two color variants.
About Oppo Reno 6 Series
The Oppo Reno 6 Series smartphones are available in 2 colors which are called Aurora and Stellar Black. These phones are available for purchase through online and offline modes. For Online, one can purchase them through Flipkart. While in order to buy the device offline, it is available at Reliance Digital Stores, Vijay Sales, and Chroma. With time, it would be available with other third-party vendors as well.

Oppo RENO 6 has a metal unibody design with a diamond cut at the edges. It sports a 6.4-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a waterdrop notch on top. The phone runs on MediaTek Dimensity SoC. It is backed up by 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. There’s a 64MP primary camera and a 32MP selfie camera. The phone has a 4,300mAh battery with VOOC Flash Charging support. The Oppo RENO 6 Pro 5G is identical to the one launched in China except for a display with a taller 19:9 aspect ratio. The device is powered by Mediatek Dimensity SoC. It also comes with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The phone has a 64MP + 8MP + 2MP + 2MP quad-rear camera setup and a 32MP front-facing camera. There’s a 4,500mAh battery with the company’s VOOC flash charging technology.

There are features like the Bokeh blur effect, 3D Portrait Lighting, Face beauty, group selfie, and AR Stickers in addition to the standard camera features. The AI camera of the Oppo devices seems to have improved with the upgrades. It also offers AI scene recognition and portrait mode. These phones also support more features.
Mediatek Dimensity Processors
The phones are powered by an octa-core Mediatek processor 1200 (Dimension 1.8 GHz + Dimension 1.4 GHz). While the specifications of these two are different, we will talk about the feature that they share. They are low-power processors that are known as dims with two variants.
