The Monster Storyline
Dr. Kenzo Tenma, a well-known and highly successful Japanese neurosurgeon who lives in Germany, is one of the most prominent. While Dr. Tenma is preparing to perform surgery on a patient in the hospital, the hospital director tells him that he should instead operate on a celebrity. Although the operation goes well, Dr. Tenma discovers that the patient he was supposed to be operating on has died. This will cause a deep crisis of conscience for the doctor.
Dr. Kenzo Tenma, a young Japanese brain surgeon is unhappy with the hospital’s treatment of patients. When Anna Liebert and Johan arrive at the hospital with serious injuries, Tenma decides to make a big change. Tenma decides that Johan should be treated first, even though the Mayor of the Town is in critical condition. Johan recovers but the Mayor is killed and Tenma loses his social standing.
Nine years later, Adolf Junkers is saved by him. Tenma overhears Junkers talking about a “monster” and soon after Junkers disappears mysteriously from the hospital. Tenma is drawn into a larger conspiracy by all of these events. Later, it is revealed that Johan Liebert is also part of the conspiracy and is actually a serial killer.
Tenma’s world is turned upside down when Johan murders Junkers. Police begin to suspect him of the crime as he was at the scene. Later in the seasons, the origins of the “monster” are revealed. Is Tenma going to escape all this? Is there more for Tenma? All the questions are answered by the climax of this series.
