Mi Band 6 & RedmiBook Pro 15: New Offerings!
Mi Band 6 & RedmiBook Pro 15: On August 26 at 12 pm (noon), Xiaomi will launch the Mi Band 6 at its Smarter Living event in India. In March, a similar smart band was released along with the Mi 11 Ultra, Mi 11 Pro, and Mi 11 Lite 5G in China. When it launches in India, the Mi Band 6 will be available in four colors. In addition, the Mi Notebook model that’s due at the event has a number of specifications that have come to light and it appears that it will be a rebranded version of the RedmiBook Pro 15 that was released in China earlier this year.

Xiaomi India confirmed on Twitter on August 26 at 12 pm (noon) that its smart band, Mi Band 6, will launch in India in a Smarter Living event. In addition, 30 sports modes will be available on the Mi Band 6. Smart wearables have been on the market since March, so their specifications are well known.

With a 1.56-inch AMOLED touchscreen display (152 x 486 pixels) and 326ppi pixel density, Mi Smart Band 6 has a peak brightness of 450 nits. The device features a battery of 125mAh that is claimed to provide 14 days of standby time. Approximately two hours are required to charge the band, and it supports Bluetooth 5.0. Waterproof to a depth of 50 meters as well.
Besides supporting 30 sports modes, the fitness wearable can automatically detect six activities, such as walking, running, and indoor running. A heart rate monitor, blood pressure monitor, blood oxygen (SpO2,) and blood oxygen saturation sensor are among the features on the Mi Band 6.

Other Features
An allegation regarding the upcoming Mi Notebook model: that it may be a rebranded RedmiBook Pro 15 that first launched in China in both Intel and AMD variations. However, the dedicated event page on Xiaomi India’s website indicates that the Intel model will be available in India.

Furthermore, we are promised a 16:10 aspect ratio, 100 percent colour coverage, faster than average refresh rates, backlit keypad, fingerprint scanner, Thunderbolt connectivity, and a metal unibody design. RedmiBook Pro 15 specifications are similar to those of the RedmiBook 15 Pro released earlier this month in India (but not the RedmiBook 15 Pro released earlier this year).

RedmiBook Pro Highlights
According to reports, if it is in fact a RedmiBook Pro 15, the new Mi Notebook will sport a 15.6-inch screen with 3.2K resolution (3,200×2,000 pixels) and 90Hz refresh rate. A 512GB PCIe SSD will be included as standard along with 11th-generation Intel Core i7-11370H processors and GeForce MX450 graphics (2GB DDR5). Dual-channel DDR4 RAM will be 16GB. Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and Thunderbolt 4 technologies will be built into the Mi Notebook, along with USB 2.0, USB 3.2 Gen 1, HDMI, and a 3.5mm audio jack. In addition to DTS Audio, dual stereo speakers will also be included, along with a battery that will hold 70Whr.
At the company’s Smarter Living event on August 26, both the Mi Band 6 and Mi Notebook will be launched in India.

During an interview with BGR earlier this month, Xiaomi Co-founder and CEO Raghu Reddy said his company plans on launching products spanning fitness, entertainment, security, productivity, and several other categories.
