So I’m a spider, so what? is about a schoolgirl from a school in Japan that became the target of a misfired space-time spell. The spell ended up destroying the school and killing everyone in it. The people who were in the school, miraculously reincarnated in another dimension. A handful of them reincarnated as influential people such as royalty and noblemen, while others who weren’t fortunate enough became all sorts of creatures from vicious beasts to tiny bugs.
The schoolgirl is reincarnated as a white spider and hence is referred to as Shiraori or Kumoko, who faces extreme hardships in a dungeon filled with deadly animals that are bigger than her in size.

Shiraori has to fight for her survival but it is extremely hard as she is just a tiny spider equipped with human knowledge. Shiraori has to navigate around the labyrinth as if it is an RPG and survive it by defeating the larger monsters that would otherwise prey on her.

So I’m a spider, so what? Season 1 ended abruptly and obviously, there is still more story to be told. It is safe to assume that the show will be returning with a season 2 and it will pick off right where season1 ended. The plans of the evil demon lord will be revealed.
