The film ‘The conjuring 3’ was initially scheduled to be released in September 2020 but was postponed due to the ongoing pandemic. It is now set to be released on June 4, 2021.
The plot of this spine-chilling horror movie is supposedly based on the “Trial of Arne Johnson”, which is also known as the “Devil Made Me Do It” case which took place in 1981.

About the case:
This was America’s earliest known court case in which the defense attorney attempted to prove his client’s innocence based on his claim that “he would not take personal responsibility for the murder of his landlord Alan Bono, as he was under the influence of the devil”. The murder occurred in February of 1981.
All this supposedly started when the family of an 11-year-old kid named David Glatzel became convinced that their son was possessed by something evil.

As their last resort to save their son who behaved disturbingly and erratically, Glatzels hired self-proclaimed demonologists Ed Warren and his wife Lorraine Warren to perform an exorcism and remove the possession.
The Warrens successfully performed the exorcism on the boy but the demon supposedly took up residence in the body of Arne Johnson who was present during the exorcism.

He killed his landlord Bono several months later. As there was no way to prove a supernatural event in court, Johnson was convicted for first-degree manslaughter.
Ed and Lorraine Warren are known for their involvement with various famous paranormal cases like Amityville Haunting, The West Point Haunting, The White lady of Easton, and The Smurl Haunting to name a few.

Was the film’s exorcism real?
Lorraine insists that she and her husband wouldn’t attempt an exorcism. This must be done by a Catholic priest. Andrea claims that Carolyn Perron was temporarily possessed by a seance, which Andrea secretly observed.
Andrea says, “I thought that I was going to pass out.” “My mother started to speak a language that was not hers in a different voice. She was thrown across a room when her chair lifted and her chair moved.
What does the Bible say about non-believers, and what do they tell them?
Perron, who wrote her family’s story for three books she self-published, said that she’s never surprised when people don’t believe it.

She says, “Both my mom and I would rather swallow our tongues than tell a lie.” “People can believe what they like. But I do know what we saw.
The recently released trailer of the film The Conjuring 3, revolves around one of the scariest case files of Ed and Lorraine Warren. There has been a gruesome murder and an unknown demon is creating chaos, and the accused of the murder claims to have been possessed by it.
These paranormal investigators have to find the truth that will help prove his innocence in court. We have to watch the movie to find out how they battle it out with the demon themselves.
The recurring roles of the demonologists Ed and Lorraine Warren are once again played by Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga. Ruairi O’Connor (playing the role of Arne Johnson) and John Noble are seen in lead roles in The Conjuring 3, along with other cast members like Shannon Kook, Sterling Jerins, and Charlene Amoia.
The kid who played Wiccan in WandaVision, Julian Hilliard played the role of David Glatzel.
Although it is a part of The Conjuring franchise, this film goes beyond the haunted house and exorcism trope and is inspired by the real-life case of the Trial of Arne Johnson from 1981. The Conjuring 3 is the eighth one in The Conjuring universe.
The film started its pre-production in 2016 and the production began by the end of 2019. Michael Chaves is the Director of this film and James Wan, who kicked off the popular film series as its director in 2013, served as a producer along with Peter Safran.
