Chivalry of a failed knight is set on another Earth,. Humans with extraordinary abilities known as “Blazers” wander this world. These Blazers can materialize weapons called “Devices” via a person’s soul. At the seven-star sword art festival, the Blazers are chosen to represent the elite Hagun Academy.
The protagonist of Chivalry of a Failed Knight is Ikki Kurogane, an F-ranked Blazer from Hagun Academy. When he walks in on the institute’s A-ranker, Stella Vermillion, changing, he challenges her to a duel, but the two quickly become friends and roommates, as well as training partners.

When Ikki Kurogane returns to his room, he discovers a semi-naked, strange female changing. Stella Vermillion, the princess of the Vermilion Empire, and his roommate, happens to be an A-Rank Blazer.
