You Season 3: Joe’s life
You Season 3: Penn Badgley’s character Joe Goldberg is freed from the self-imposed confines of his family life for the third season of the television thriller You. He is ready to explore the world. In Joe and Love’s third season, they devoted much of their time to working hard to put their homicidal pasts behind them and create a happy suburban home with a white picket fence and a picturesque garden. Relationships such as these in You Season 3, however, are bound to fail. They discovered their “spark” had been linked to violence not only because they could not trust one another, but also because they had no trust for each other.
At the end of season three, Joe, even though married and with a child, could not control his obsession for an innocent, poor woman. He turned his attention to his boss Marienne after spending some time with their next-door neighbor Natalie.

A blood-soaked T-shirt discovered in their son’s crib and the body of Marienne’s abusive ex-husband brought the Love to its conclusion in Season 3. The cycle had to be broken once and for all, so Love got a meat cleaver from the kitchen counter and went straight for Joe’s throat. A man who was always one step ahead, Joe quickly returned the favour by injecting Love with the same poison she had used on him.

A dead Love lay on the floor as Joe began his typical clean-up process. As he prepared a meat pie for the oven, he put some of his own toes into it, so as to scene his own death, as well as gathering souvenirs linking Love to their neighbors’ framing for Natalie’s murder.

The letter concluded with Love admitting to the crimes and taking responsibility for coercing Joe into participating in the crime by writing to the Madre Linda community in You Season 3. Last but not least, he set the home ablaze by lighting the stove on fire. In the end, the authorities had just enough evidence to reach the conclusions Joe wanted, allowing him to depart and begin a new life somewhere else.

The only decent move Joe made during You Season 3 was leaving his son with coworker Dante and his partner. Despite being trapped in a glass box in the basement of Love’s bakery, Sherman and Cary Conrad managed to escape. Since they heard Love confess to Natalie’s murder during the detention process and weren’t able to see him while they were there, they had little chance of refuting Joe’s story. If they had, however, they couldn’t have done anything since they assumed he was pie filling. Joe is currently on vacation in Paris.

Seasons one and two were released in December. You Season 3 release was postponed due to COVID-19 pandemic. On the other hand, the showrunners could choose to return to their original schedule and release the next installment in December 2022.
Though there hasn’t been an official announcement of Season 4 after You Season 3, some speculations have been made. Tati Gabrielle might return as Joe’s latest ‘you’ in Season 4 given that Joe has travelled to Paris in search of Marienne. Despite being dead, Love Quinn (Victoria Pedretti) may appear in flashbacks, as was seen with Guinevere Beck (Elizabeth Lail) and Candace Stone (Ambyr Childers).
Flashbacks showed Joe in his childhood, his birth mother, and the woman who became his friend in foster care, but it is expected that a totally new cast will be introduced, since the structure has remained the same.
You Season 3 and 4 cast
Earlier this year, Penn Badgley was announced to return as Joe Goldberg, an obsessive bookkeeper who murders ladies for money. The character of Love Quinn will probably be played once more by Victoria Pedretti. Cast members change every year. As a result, some new characters could appear during season 4.
Conclusion
Caroline Kepnes’ novel You was the inspiration for the first season. The second season was inspired by the author’s next book, Hidden Bodies.
Thus, this is everything as we know from the character’s eye in You Season 3. It was inspired by John Kepnes’s novel You Love Me, released recently. Despite the book series not yet having a new installment, the next one is possible to be online.
